Scarlet Astrid

Certified Massage Therapist
Scarlet's background resides in movement arts. Having been a dancer for over 20 years, she was led to the path of healing arts as a way to embody a more holistic approach to self care. While at school, she developed a deeper understanding of the body and it's many layers. After 1000 hours of coursework, Scarlet graduated from Mueller College in 2007 as a Holistic Health Practitioner. While giving bodywork, she really takes into account the clients needs in order to develop a personalized, whole body approach to each session. Using a combination of myofascial, trigger point release, Swedish, shiatsu, and energy work, Scarlet's grounding touch flows continuously over the body, allowing muscle tension to release, stress to melt away, and breath to return to an even state. She creates a quiet, safe space to listen to the body and observe subtle shifts within, which in turn, permits the client to completely release into peace and relaxation. Scarlet finds great fulfillment in being a facilitator for this connective process and hopes that each individual will receive exactly what they need and be able to experience that sense of grounding balance in all areas of life.

Vanessa Lombardo

Certified Massage Therapist
“Growing up I witnessed my mom working several jobs at a time and seeing her go through so many different ailments made me feel like I needed to do something to ease her pain.  I gave her foot massages or scalp massages to make her feel more relaxed after a long day at work.  This made me realize that I love giving massages because she felt relieved and relaxed afterwards.  Seeing how grateful and better she felt was a great reward for myself and this made me want to continue in a field where I can heal or make people feel renewed in their body.”

Vanessa graduated from the National Holistic Institute at the top of her class and is well versed in Myofascial Therapy, Reflexology and Deep Tissue massage modalities. Vanessa integrates these modalities in her tailored sessions, accentuated by her intuitive, touch. She focuses on working to relieve people’s body from everyday stress and tension so that they can achieve balance. Vanessa Lombardo a wife and mother of a two year old son is a caring and sensitive individual. Vanessa and her husband raise their son in Pacifica in a safe and nurturing environment which is what inspired Vanessa to seek a career supporting others to alleviate daily discomfort and reconnect.
