10 methods to decrease stress and boost productivity. Time Management is a sexy way to reduce stress on a daily basis. Get hip with these simple ways to work your inner mojo.

Try one strategy for two weeks. Then consider integrating another tool. Start small and build a good foundation.

  1. PLAN ~ Preparing for your day can help you accomplish more and feel more in control of your life. Keep a daily schedule (use pencil) and keep it up to date.
  2. PRIORITIZE ~ Are you wasting time on tasks that aren’t actually all that important? Prioritize your to do list. Get proactive instead of reactive.
  3. SAY NO ~ Do you have too much on your plate? Maybe its time to purge yourself from taking on more than you have time and energy for. Just say no. Try it (it’s sort of liberating).
  4. DELEGATE ~ Big or small items can be handed off. Is there someone else you can give this to?
  5. TAKE THE TIME ~ Being rushed stinks. People (and projects) don’t like the unnecessary franticness. Then again if you’ve been stalling, step up your game. Take the ‘right’ amount of time.
  6. LIMIT DISTRACTIONS ~ Shut off the ringer. Don’t check email. Set the timer and do ONE thing from beginning to end.
  7. GET HEALTHY ~ Working out and eating balanced meals gets you to feel better, think better, and look better. Your entire outlook is affected which can help you get in the right mindset to getting things done.
  8. GET REAL ~ Is this really something you want to do? And if it is, are you being realistic about how you’ll achieve them? Review your goals and get real.
  9. BREAK TIME ~ Breaks throughout the day actually recharge you so that you can bring more focus and clarity to your work. Step away from the desk, meditate for one minute, go a for a 5 minute walk.
  10. ASK FOR HELP ~ If it’s hard to motivate yourself or create systems that work, seek out a professional! A professional organizer or wellness coach can be a powerful key to getting you on track and living your full potential.
